I added three Black Swedish ducklings to my flock this weekend. Trying to determine sex if anyone has tips. They all have dark feet and dark gray bills. I don’t know much about color identifying in this breed.

Color ID won’t be possible until they’re full grown. Your best bet is voice-sexing in a couple weeks. I find 4 weeks old to be very reliable.

Females will get a noticeable voice change, making a peep-honking sound, maybe even a honk or two, and males will keep their baby peep until they’re fully feathered.

Thank you! I’ll pay attention to their voices over the next few weeks. All are still peeping right now.

They are adorable. I have two black swedish females and I love their beauty and calm and friendly personalities! As they grow older quacks are female and raspy whispery voices are males. Males will have a curled tail feather.

I have heard that Khakis have a bit more nervous personality - I've reviewed the Metzer duck temperment chart more than a few times :pBut I know Khakis are well liked by many here too! Enjoy your sweet babies!
