Black wyandotte or black jersey giant

I am going to order some chicks next month and I choose some big breeds .I wanted to know if I should choose black Jersey giants or black wyandotte ,I have a gig blue favaucana rooster and would like to breed them in the future .I'm looking for the chicks from that cross to be big,good lacing,and good egg layers .thanks from the help......(I'm ordering from well)

Based on your criteria, I would go with Black Jersey Giants. The late rate of the two breeds is similar but the BJGs are a larger breed and usually a little more calm and gentle than Wyandottes (although both breeds are typically docile).

Your welcome. Getting both would work great, especially since the recommended ratio of roosters to hens is 1 rooster for every 10 hens. You could get 5 BJG hens and 5 Wyandotte hens. )
