Hi all!
I bought this summer two 4 months old pullets (i think they're Blackstars) and a Silkie (about 7 month old), I have a 6yy old Isa brown that last summer laid lot of eggs, but now no more.
So now the pullets should be about 1 year. I'haven't seen an egg yet... i don't mind eggs, but i'm wondering if I'm doing somthing wrong.
I feed them with an organic laying feed (i'm searching a organic feed that isn't for layers, cause at the moment they aren't laying), vegetable peelings and i often put them in the chicken tractor to eat some grass/other. They're happy and do chicken things.. :) Temperatures are quite mild, it isn't very cold and lot of sun in these days.
Any help? Thank you all friends! 😉😉😉

It's still "winter" here in the USA. If it's also "winter" there, I wouldn't be concerned. Shorter days and molting interferes with laying. Most hens will stop for a month or two in the winter and pick up again when spring comes. Very normal. I have 36 hens and only got 9 to 12 eggs in December and January! Things are picking up now, I'm getting 17 to 21 eggs a day now. Probably just the time of year. Be patient, they will lay soon! :hugs

Wow thank you very much, sorry i didn't reply!!! 🥰
Someone, in these few days, made 3 eggs! :ya:ya:ya:ya
Today i found 2, so there are 2 laying hens at he moment! I cannot wait to discover who are them!! :pop:pop:pop:pop
