I just used diluted bleach to rinse a new Hovabator and parts. I then shut it up to get it running a couple days before my hatching eggs arrive. THEN it occurred to me that the bleach will be evaporating into the air inside for a good while! Will it harm my eggs? Has anyone had enough experience to know if the bleach vapor will affect hatch rate or health of the chicks?
(I am already kicking myself for not using hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, sunlight, boiling water, etc... I know I should have.)
