bleeding claw

My first time raising chickens..five day old chick got away from grandchild and his toe got caught in a moustrap! He is crying and bleeding. Pecks at claw if we set him down. Help.

Neosporin and a bandaid or rap would help with bleeding and infection. I've had similar issues and this stops bleeding and pecking
