Bleeding from beak- dog attack

Our neighbors dog just attacked one of our girls. She's 8mos old, Easter egger.

It's a small dog, but got her by the neck. No external injuries, just bleeding from the mouth.

Anything we can do to encourage clotting? We have her inside now. Breathing sounds labored and worth a slight whistle.

Update: her breathing has calmed significantly and she just made a little coo at me. Still under observation and has sugar water handy, but much improvement.

Hoping my panic was a false alarm. :fl

Glad she's doing better.

Looks like she's stressed, if she was/is bleeding from the beak, sometimes they can aspirate a bit of blood. I'd just continue to encourage her to take sips of the sugar water to work her through shock.

Hopefully she'll be good to go by morning.
