bleeding from neck

andalusian with large abscess type thing in its neck. bled heavily at first wrapped with gauze and it is not bleeding now what do i do

That is soo strange .. I still think absece.. It seems to high for her crop and I have never seen a crop do that.,, I would still try the betadine and maybe some antibiotics....

if it is an abscess should i lance it. what antibiotic should i use

pretty solid, we dont have a feed store that carries anything for birds. we are in ocala fl and the world revolves around horses here. i do have some animax though

I talked to a person who lives nearby and they looked at some pics. They think it is hematoma. Has anybody ever had bird with this?

Hematoma-
clean with betadine then you lance, drain rinse with saline solution, then glue (super glue or liquid skin) it closed.
or have a Vet do it.
