bleeding toe help plz

My banty rooster flew over the temporary pen I was keeping him in and I had to catch him.We went into the woods out into the field than into my backyard.When I finally cought him I noticed right by were his toenail is bleeding and ive also noticed that he keeps his injured foot up whenever possible.plz help me

I would say put pure iodine on it to catarize it and keep it locked up
do you show this bird?
if so it will need its toe nail to be shown

keep him doctored several times a day
it will heal
