blending vaccinated and Non-Vaccinated chicks????

I have a chance to get some Buff Orpington chicks on Friday. They will have been vaccinated.

The chicks I already have are not vaccinated. Is it going to be ok to mix these?

I have been waiting and wanting buffs so badly and am soooooooo excited.

Yes, you can. There are many rumors out there with a lot of false info that insist that you can't but if you really research it you wll find that it is fine, and the non vaccinated will not get Mareks from the vaccinated via droppings or anything else. I've read and read on it and have seen both the expert analysis and the I know it all rumors.

It would help to know what they are actually being vaccinated for. You are probably talking about Coccidiosis or Marek’s, which won’t be a problem, but there are other vaccines given.
