My sister-in-law has 9 baby chicks. One seems to have bulging eyes that are cloudy blue. He seems to be eating well, but I have to place him in the water so he can drink. He also seems to be the same size he was when she got them a week ago. Is there anything else I should do to help it?

It sounds like his eyes could have glaucoma and it could be caused by them being infected. He should probably be separated from the others and put on medicated feed/water. By this I mean actual antibiotics, not the coccidiostat that comes in medicated chick starter. Aueromycin crumbles are a good choice. If you can clear up the infection he may or may not wind up with permanent damage.

I don't know if they are going to want to do that. Im just trying to help it along. Is there any home remdies???

Not for infections. And the longer they let it go the more likely he is to be blind permanently.

That stinks. Ugh! Guess they'll have to buy a leash! LOL!

If they don't want to separate him they can just medicate all of them to prevent the others from getting anything while he's healing.
