Blind Gouldian finch

I think my poor, poor male Gouldian finch has gone blind in one eye. It's gone all chocolate brown instead of black-brown and is cloudy. I had a feeling he would go blind in an eye because he had an eye tumor. At least his eye looks better after I put him under a heat lamp for a few weeks. I tried to save him and one of my best breeding females- unfortunately, I could not get the female to eat she was so exhausted from all this cold weather, she passed an hour after I moved her, even after I gave her food, water and forty degrees Celsius heat on her.

I'm sorry to see this,

He can adapt to being blind, even fully blind in some cases- I'd move him to a cage just big enough for two and always have food and water in the same places.
