Blind horses

My miniature horse as gooey stuff coming out of one of her eye's and can't keep it open barley. Could this be a sighn that she is going blind? She is about 25 years old maybe older. Thanks!

It's a sign that your horse has an eye infection, and needs to be seen by a Veterinarian.

Eye infection. It could possibly lead to blindness if not treated. The not keeping the eye open could also be light sensitivity cause by an injury to the eye.

It would be a good idea to have the vet take a look.
