Blocking posts in another language

I like to use the "new posts" options when searching new threads and posts. As of tonight when I use this option, it seems as though most of what I am getting is in another language that I can not begin to decipher. In addition, it is taking a lot of extra time to scroll down through pages of posts to get to ones I can actually read. Is this new to BYC? Is there a way to set things so that only posts in English show up?

I still see it - just moved on to another area. What do they get out of it? It can't be very exciting. I suppose they just like to mess things up for other people.

When my son was in college they worked on a project to spam the worst spammers. It did work for awhile - they didn't like their own medicine.

I've often wondered the same thing DD...what's the point? Strange way to have fun if you ask me!
