Hello, HELP!!!!!!!!
I have few Rhode Island reds and they are all in the molting process, anyway, I saw that the rooster was pecked on the tail feathers from the hens and the tail feathers were damaged from the pecking of the hens.

My question is: will the damaged blood feathers fall off and new healthy ones will come out????
Would the damaged pecked blood feather fall off and a new one emerge?

They feathers fall off eventually or one of the hens will finish the job at the sight of blood and will continue to pick at the roosters rear area. The feathers will eventually regrow but you have to stop the picking.
Put some Nu-Stock on the area. The hens wont be picking your rooster once they get a mouthful of that stuff.
Wear disposable gloves when applying it to your roo.

Thank you, I have separated the rooster from the hens until he feathers up nicely, I did clean him up and pulled out the remaining tail feathers that were pecked and damaged. So hopefully new feathers come in nicely. Thank you again for your recommendation.
