Blood! Help!

My ducks are hatching…one of them has blood on the egg as it’s trying to get out. What do I do? I’m a first time hatcher!

It is chirping but it could just be talking with the other duckling that has hatched

That doesn’t look too bad, I think it’s ok. But could you try getting a clearer pic?

It looks normal (never hatched ducks, but chicks are similar)
How long has it been like that. It can take a long time to hatch. Is it moving its beak like it's chewing? If so it is still absorbing the yolk sack. And if it doesn't sound distressed, real loud and fast chirps you should allow it to do its thing.

Yes. That’s totally fine, nothing to worry about.

Just within the last 15 minutes or so, does not appear to be chewing but it looks like it’s resting right now
