I have two pens of Coturnix quail, all quail are 9 weeks old. For the past two days the quail who are kept on grass have had bloody droppings. The quail kept in the rabbit hutch are fine.
Quail with the bloody droppings are moved to fresh grass daily, no changes on food/water consumption or egg laying. No sneezing, swelling or nasal discharge. They seem otherwise healthy and active.
Can someone tell me what's going on?
Edited to add that these quail are for eggs and meat, not pets.
