Blood in poo

My little Lily JUST overcame a leg issue :-(. We have assumed from the start she would have some genetic defect, as she hatched much later and has always been tiny with a small hitch in her giddy-up. She's on a good protein diet as well as chicken seed/scratch. Only 2.5 months old. I'm seeing traces of blood in about every 4th or 5th poop she takes. Any idea? Never happened with my others and probably nothing she caught that could be contiguous, as she is living inside until her leg injury heals. Unfortunately, on top of already having a limp, she further injured her leg not long ago :'(. Bloody poop causes?

The most common reason for bloody poop is coccidiosis, but capillary worms and enteritis are other causes. Any vet can test a sample of a few of her fresh droppings for those things. Or, you could give her a 5 day course of Corid in her water, followed up by worming her for 5 straight days with SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer 1/4 ml per pound given orally undiluted. Necrotis enteritis many times is a result of untreated coccidiosis or clostridium infection from soil. Even chicks who have never touched dirt can bet cocci.

She shares water with another chick. Would it be okay for the other chick to be on Corid, as well? I will go to Callahans and grab some. Thanks so much!
