Blood in white part of the egg

I have white rock and a rhode Island red , been seeing blood in the white part of the egg , has happend 4 times . are my hens sick

Sometimes this happens and it's not necessarily a sign of illness. Are your birds showing any other signs of not being well? I have one bird that almost always has these tiny specks in her egg whites but she is as healthy as can be.

I have one that always has specks of blood.....
.......had one egg once with a lot of blood in it, can't remember if it was same hen.
