Blood on beaks

hello! I've got four 8-10wk old Easter egger chicks. After bringing them back in from their first full day outside in the coop/run I noticed two had blood on their beaks. Is this from pecking each other and should I put anything on it? Wondering if it's probably just from learning and investigating the new living space. It's fenced with hardware cloth. Though the two with blood are the two timid ones.

It could be from pecking or from the wire. I would get some BluKote or iodine, and dab (not spray) some on the beaks so the red will be hidden. They may continue to peck at anything red. Some green or blue food color may help until you get one of those.

Perfect-I put some blue food coloring so they'd leave the smaller girls alone for the night. Don't think they need anything else, they seem all healed up today, so must have been a small cut they had. Thank you!!
