Blood on egg

My chickens are new layers I have 5 girls not all are laying - I think- anyway tonight when I got home I checked on them water food blah blah then checked nest box found two eggs got to in the AM but one of the eggs had blood streaks on it - I suppose this normal seeing the are breaking in their equipment or is it ?????

We've seen some occasional blood streaks on our eggs and (knock on wood) everyone is fine. I think that it is fairly normal.

Perfectly normal. With new layers, you'll run across a lot of things like blood on egg, odd shaped or colored egg, double yolked egg, shell-less egg, etc.

I have gotten a lot of these eggs, especially from my Americanas. Sometimes I think of them being in pain while laying.
