Blood on eggs

My three year old has been regularly laying eggs with some blood on them for about two weeks now. Hoped it was just a fluke but now getting worried. They look like the one in the photo.
Is this a cause for concern? She didn't used to have blood on them. What could be causing this?

This could be due to some sort of damage in the chickens oviduct, or maybe in the bowels there could be some sort of cut or stretch that could have made a small rip or tear, maybe from an abnormally large egg?

Should I be concerned or would that heal itself?
