blood on eggs!

Some of my hens started laying 2-3 weeks ago. The last few days one or two eggs have had blood on the shells. Not everyday. Is this normal? Should I do anything?

I don't know the answer, but this happened to me the other day too. I think the egg belonged to one of my pullets who is just starting to lay, so maybe it's common for newbies??? Hopefully someone will know.

I wouldn't worry much, they are new to this and I have also gotten a few like that but it should stop once their parts all function at a normal rate. Hope that helps.
