Blood on first egg?

Should I be worried there was a little blood on a first egg today? I have several girls just starting to lay and this is definitely a first egg. But I have never seen blood before.

It is normal to find a little smear of blood on a first egg. I wouldn't be concerned unless there is a lot.

I had it on the first few eggs from new layers. The first one had the most on it and as they laid it just got less and less. Freaks you out the first time you see it though.
