Blood oozing out of pip hole?

I just had a chick pip and there is good amount of blood that oozed out of the pip hole. Is that normal? What should I do?

ok, thanks! I have only hatched about a dozen eggs, but have never seen one bleed like that! Scary!

chick stopped bleeding from the pip hole for a while, but just started and stopped again. About a half of a teaspoon of red-brown liquid. (s)he is about 3/4 unzipped and progressing!

red brown would indicate that it is not fresh blood. Sounds like she just had a vein that didn't dry up all the way.

Chick is out finally. Looks really underdeveloped. Eyes are like too big and buggy and the wings are super small..... I placed it in the brooder under the heater.

I am gonna let it dry, Nature will choose. Will not hurt anything to wait and watch. THe eyes are freaky though. Alien part 5.
