Blood ring??? 😭😭

I'm on day 6 of candling eggs and saw this in one of the eggs. The other eggs do not look like this. I'm really scared if this is a blood ring, which it probably is, I just need your thoughts on it.

Yes, that is a blood ring. Don't be bummed! It's rare to have a hatch without one.

It may be, but I still see some veins so it might be ok. Leave it in for at least another 3-4 days. Post some more pics on Wednesday.

Yeah I agree. It does look like one. Definitely leave it in a few more days though.

I would just leave it in until day 13. You’ll definitely know by the. Doesn't quite look like a blood ring to me

I had one that looked that way and was super porous, I was going to toss it but I saw some movement, I kept it in. Sure enough, it was the first to hatch and is my gorgeous brown hen. She's the chick in my avatar. Don't get too hopeful, but it definitely is possible it's not dead. Can you see a heartbeat or anything candling it? It does look a little cloudy in there, it may have quit. But you never know

I haven't candled the egg long enough to look for a heartbeat but I will and let you know if I can see one later.
