Blood shmear on egg shells

I am new to raising back yard chickens and my 7 month old pullets are new to laying eggs. All in all things are going rather well but sometimes there is bright red blood streaks on the outside of the egg shells. Anything to worry about or that I should be doing for the girls?

its happened to me before and i was told that especially with hens that are new to laying that it happens sometimes while they, for a lack of a better term, stretch out. mine were fine, but i was also told that if it keeps happening or you notice more blood in the nesting area then you may have a problem. just keep your eys open and check...probably nothing to worry about.
