blood spot under skin

Hi, I was cutting up a chicken this morning when I noticed between the breasts near the bone just under the skin, was a blood spot. I was had some green mixed with it too. Is this just a bruise? I cut the skin off with the spot too, then cut it out between the bone. Thanks!!
 
More than likely a bruise and nothing to worry about. It's quite common to see damage on meat, especially if it non-free range as the conditions they are kept in lead to various injuries through overcrowding. Free range meat gets it too, but not as much I find.
