Blood spots on egg shell

One of my hens laid an egg today that had spots of blood on the outside of the egg shell. She acts alright otherwise, eats, runs around and seems upbeat. Is this something that I should worry about?

Oh, don't worry, that will happen from time to time. As long as she seems active and healthy, no worries!

Probably nothing to worry about. Just in case, check her vent area for mites.

Ok, I won't worry so much now, unless she starts acting different. I always check for mites so all ok there. Thanks for reassuring me.
