Bloody eggs?

I decided to leave some eggs in the coop to see if anyone felt broody. There are three eggs in there, and each morning when I go in one has been pushed aside. This morning there was blood on them. I didn't see any blood on the hens, what's up?

I believe that it is probably from one of your hens bursting a blood vessel while laying. I have had it happen once where a box with 3 fresh eggs had blood all over it. I don't know who it came from and appeared to have no effect on the hen. I don't know what the consequences for a hatching egg would be.
