Hi, my 7th chick has hatched. It’s two days old now. It hatched in the evening and spent the night in the incubator. I moved to a small brooder next morning and it was chirping like crazy then it pooped and there was a ton of blood with it. It was jellied too. Drinking and eating normal and walking fine. Now has had about 16 little poops with green liquid around it on the napkin. Is this normal? Seems healthy but worried

Hi, and welcome to BYC!
Can you post pics of the poop?

That's strange for the first poop, it's usually bright green. I'd just see if it happens again. Are you feeding medicated chick feed? If not you could start giving Corid in the water. 2 Teaspoons of Corid per 1 gallon of water.

I know.
How would a two day old chick get Coccidiosis though?
