I have small younger chickens at 15 weeks and they have slightly bloody stools and I have my other chickens with them, without knowing I added them to the new flock and I don’t know where to get coccsidiosis med from.
all vet shops are closed. Need help. UK links anyone

While you are trying to get medicine for them, you may be able to do a little bit of organic, raw apple cider vinegar in their water (helps even when they are not sick). Consider giving chopped garlic. Some give a little bit of Echinacea. Some Food-Grade (must be food-grade) Diatamaceous Earth might be a good addition to their food and on the floor of their coop/run.

Make sure to practice good chicken hygeine. Sanitize food containers and waterers with vinegar and hot water. Make sure the chickens are in a well ventilated environment that doesn't leave moisture build up.

I hope your chickens get well soon!

Thank you! I would love to be more organic!

Amprollium, the active ingredient in Coxoid, is the first line of treatment for coccidiosis. It is not an antibiotic, but mimics thiamine to starve the coccidia. Some vets will use sulfa antibiotics instead to treat coccidiosis.
