Hello poultry enthusiasts!
I would like to ask that annoying question: is this a pullet or cockerel?
I ordered BLR Wyandottes from two different hatcheries and they are 1 week apart. I know I have one Cockerel due to early red comb, coloring of feathers and even hearing the most precious attempts at crowing.
He’s made it easier to figure out, BUT I have one, a week younger and from a different hatchery that looks to me like a pullet but acts like a cockerel. She is always following the cockerel around and even runs and pecks the others on the head like she’s the boss lol.
I’m hoping her behavior is bc she was the smallest and she’s just trying to climb the pecking order but can you take a look and tell me what you think?
I’ll post pics of my cockerel who I’m 99.9% sure is all male also just for compassion
TIA for any advice, I know these post get annoying lol
