BLRW chicks?

Hi Everyone -

Can BLRW chicks be sexed at hatching?

I see that Feathersite has 2 pics of BLRW chicks labeled as a cockerel and a pullet, and there is a definite visual difference in them (one is darker and one is lighter), but I don't know if that just applies to THOSE BLRW chicks, or to ALL BLRW chicks?

Both sexes come in both colors so that is not an indicator of their sex.

Thanks Katy - I figured as much, but didn't know if the down color meant anything. So might the difference between the two chicks on Feathersite be that the dark one (the cockerel) could be a BLUE laced red, and the light one (the pullet) could be a SPLASH laced red?
