Blue and Lavendar color

I was wondering what is the difference in the Blue and Lavendar coloring. To me they both just look gray

Are you confusing self-blue and blue? Self-blue and lavender are the same thing. Much lighter than a true blue bird. And even then, blues can range from light to almost black.
