blue andalusian breeders in NE?

So far, I have only been able to get then from hatcheries. I am still trying to aquire some vintage old line stock, but haven't been able to as of yet. My current hatchery stock is weak on the feather lacing. I still have a couple of hatcheries I haven't purchased from yet. Hopefully theirs might be closer to the standard.

Only one that I know of. A man in Maine who is older now. Has been breeding them for years. Only has 2 males and 4 females left. (oops. My mistake, this gentleman has Buckeyes, not BA. His info on the HLF pages listed below)

Talk to Laceyblues who writes on the BYC " Heritage Large Fowl " discussion. Also read the 4 latest pages on that thread as we were discussing Andalusian Blues.
Best,
Karen in western PA, USA

Or New York? Or anywhere for that matter. Where did you all get your Blue Andalusians?

I took over John Hayes Andalusians. They are probably the oldest line in the country [50+ years]. Both Butch Gunderson & Tom Robuck have gotten birds from John in the past. Jamie Matts' daughter has some of these as well as do a few others in this area. I will be breeding from 6 females & 3 males for the upcoming year & expect to have some available. PM me to be added to my contact list for the spring.

ETA: as my screen name suggests I'm in NY
