Blue Andalusian x ameraucana?!?! I bought some!v*(PICTURES)*

I just bought three chicks from a local feed store and the sign said Blue Andalusian / Ameraucana cross. Has anyone ever seen this combination before? They are beautiful little chicks, mostly a dark bluish color with lighter blue and black markings. I will try to post pictures when I have a chance. I did a google search and didn't come up with anything so I'm just wondering how common this cross is...

I'm wondering how unusual this cross is. I've never heard of it before. I suppose its possible that the feed store had them misslabled but who knows....

I love the blue chickens as well! The only blue one I have is a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte named Perkins.

I hatched 3 eggs from blue andalusian mom and americauna dad. One came out brown like a chipmunk and the other two pure black. Green legs. now, 4 weeks later, The chipmunk colored one is getting red feathers on its breast with black/brown laced feathers, and the other two are still pure black. very skittish compared to the brahma/leghorn mixes. I love the color of yours.
