With the death of his father (blue Australorp) Silky is now our sole remaining rooster. I wish I had pictures of his sisters before they were killed (racoon or cat we aren't sure) They were both solid black and all the other roosters from this group (2 were potted 2 given away) were solid black with the wings being gold or red and the yellow neck feathers. The wings reflect blue/green in the sunlight as well. The hens were prolific layers as well. Daily layers of blue and olive eggs.
