There is a post on my local Craigslist advertising Blue and Black Copper Marans, hatched from eggs resulting from a mixed Flock of Blue and Black Copper Marans. When I inquired about the ad the seller said this:
"We've 2 groups Wheaton Rooster with wheaton and Blue hens and the other group is A Blue Copper Maran Rooster with Blue and Black hens."
So will these chicks be pure blues and blacks, or some kind of mix? I don't really know much about the different colors of Marans, but I am interested in learning. If there is a reference that already has this information you can just refer me there. Thanks!!
