I got some chicks over spring break and there is a little pullet that is confusing. I got her as a blue cochin and since then she has feathered in white. I was wondering why she is white, what genotype she is, and what color chicks could she produce with a partridge roo?
When I got her 6 weeks ago

now(a picture from the internet of basically what she looks like)(she looks exactly like this)

She is probably a splash in color. The genetics of blue are complicated, birds that carry the blue gene can be blue in color (carrying one blue gene), or splash (carrying 2 blue genes) - white to greyish white, sometimes with splashes of darker grey. See here - https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/610740/blue-genetics

But can a splash be solid white with no other color? I have a splash hen that looks nothing like her.

White hides other genes and patterns, so you could get just about anything.

If she is recessive white it depends on what color she is behind that. You could try punching in blue, black and splash into the chicken calculator. If she is recessive white and crossed with a rooster that does not carry it, then the calculator could help predict her offspring. Of course, all her offspring would carry recessive white - not very desirable.
