I sold a few for 50.00 each. Within a day they were gone. There's an auction on eggbid for a cockerel. 35.00 so far.

Starwalker, I'm at the opposite end of the state, too far for my Post Office to do express shipping. I'd have to drive 6 hours just to get to Nashville if I were to mail my roosters. Thanks for letting me how much you charged, although I don't think anybody near me will be willing to pay that much--I wish!--for a cockerel.

I sold these roo's locally. You'd be surprised how many Marans lovers come out you never knew lived near you. Also, one thing a top breeder of a different breed does, is sell her extra roosters as unknown or mutts. That way her hard earned breeding program doesn't get destroyed by people wanting to make a buck putting her roos with their hens and claim her name to them.
