Blue Eggs

Cree Farms has the bluest eggs I have seen. They do have a gold leakage issue in their BBS line however. The birds are lovely, but every now and then the roos get gold coming through on their feathers. If you don't care about that though, the eggs are gorgeous! No green at all.

When purchasing blue eggs, or dark (Marans) eggs just remember... photos can be deceiving. Whether they were meant to be intentionally, or not.

Honestly it's best to source eggs from more than one breeder and then make your decision on who has the "bluest".

Don't splurge after seeing one perfect photo, because folks can do wonderous things with Photoshop.

I have some young wheaton and blue wheaton birds from Wayne Merideth. They hatched near the end of April and are growing nicely.

I had not planned on selling these birds but I am goinig to have to have another neck surgery and need to sell most of my stock before the surgery. You can email me if you want more info or pictures.

I'm located an hour west of Chicago.
