Blue Faverolle

Where can I get eggs for either standard and or bantam. These are beautiful birds and I have to have some.

That's where I got the idea to get some. I thought there might be another source. Aren't they beautiful?

I would like to have chicks but I don't want to order alot. I think they require you order 15. I only want a couple. But I am not good at incubating eggs and even under my broody silkies the shipped eggs are questionable. But I sure would like to have some. Hope you find some eggs. Are you going to incubate them?

I used to have Blue Faverolles from Catulpa Farms however not pleased with the outcome on that. There is much work needed on their end to avoid the fifth toe absence and no feather footed. I had three chicks out of five that ended up like that. Definately not happy about it however the Blue Fav pullet I gave away to a friend now put her with EE roosters and Blue Orp rooster. She has a beautiful beard!

Dick Boulanger has some Blue Faverolles and he said there is much work to be done on them because of the traits do pop up that are a no no in the breed. Its a fairly new color the breeders are working on. From what Catulpa Farms told me by email, they were third and fourth generation of Blue Favs and problems cropped up on that. That is why you dont see Blue Faverolles listed on their website but I am certain you can contact them if you want some.
