Wednesday I was painting the trim inside the new coop, when I was finished I had to rush off and meet DH at Lowes to pick up 2x4s for the run. I left an empty paint can to dry out near the dog fence that we put up to keep the dogs out of the woods and away from the ticks. Found this the next morning.
And small blue foot prints leading back into the woods.
I'm thinking that there is a blue footed raccoon somewhere in our woods! This is the reason we are making the coop and the run as secure as we can. DH was a little upset when I ordered the electric fence but I think he now understands why.
