How many people on here throw away the eggs who used blue kote on the chicken. I put some blue kote on my chickens and didn't know that the eggs 'shouldn't ' be eaten. I don't know which eggs come from what chicken and I have no other place to put the chickens I used them on. Should I be concerned?

thanks

Blue Kote on a chicken will not affect the eggs in anyway. It's a topical solution to paint injuried areas on the bird. It's a disinfectant and a coloring agent to hide blood (color red) from the other birds.

Oh really? I've read on other posts that you can't eat the eggs. I wouldn't want to do that! I thought it was a topical thing...

Thanks

i use it all the time on my chickens, and never have thrown away a egg.......most of the time instead of reading up on thing's i just call my old country vet up and ask
