I’m new here, so I hope I’m doing this post right. We recently got several blue laced red Wyandottes unsexed and I’m afraid I have 8 roosters and 2 hens. I’ve been reading old threads on genders here but the rose comb has me confused. Some have a flat comb some have a pointy one. I’m really confused. I’d like to have an idea so I can get more from the breeder if I only have two hens. I think they’re around 9 weeks old. Breeder didn’t tell me when I got them, but that’s my guess.

Also, like the others said, #2 and #5 are definitely the only 2 girls.

#2 and #5 are the girls.
I believe the single comb is recessive.
Rose combs have fertility problems, so single combed birds are sometimes mixed in there. They crop up from time to time.
Is the single comb the pointy comb or the flat comb? I’m so new and I’m confused on this. I know the single comb isn’t what you want tho for like showing at the fair. Just not sure which is which.
