Not yet! I have 3 pullets (1 at 11 wks, 2 at 7 wks) and I am picking up a cockeral tomorrow.

Bummer!! I want more of them, thats why I hope he is a he because I want to breed them!! Where are you getting the cockeral from?

Monicas here on BYC in Duvall. She had several extra cockerals. I don't think she has extra pullets. I have seen an add for hatching eggs in Gig Harbor on Craigslist. I know what you mean though. I had 2 hatch from the first eggs I ordered and we lost one of those. And only two again from the second batch. Thankful they all appear to be pullets though! LOL!

I too agree that he looks like a he. I had a hard time telling with my 3- and the week we figured it oud, a hawk nabbed my only pullet! Its interesting to see the different colors too. All of mine were spash. I wonder what I will be getting in the mail? Here's hoping for 2 pullets of each color-blue, black, and splash!
BLRWs are my favorite of all the breeds I have kept. My roo (at over a year old) is still a sweetie. HUGE bird, bigger than all the others. But he NEVER tried to get aggressive with any member of our household (strangers, though, he doesn't like.) When he was smaller he'd even jump into my lap for treats.
