Are dark beaks and indication of sex (roo)? They’re maybe a week old, but a couple have a more upright cocky walk too..is this too young to be displaying this roo behavior? Thanks!

Super cute!!! I have 2 blue Wyandottes and 2 Silver laced Wyandottes. They are about 5 weeks old and we are just now able to tel we have a Roo. His rose comb is becoming very distinctive.

These are our Blues. The male is named Blue. (I know, creative right). The female on the left is Trix. You can see a significant difference in their rose combs. They are the same age. If u look close, u can even see a bit of his red waddle staring.
