I stopped at tsc today and they have a bin marked as blue australorp (and bantams), they have black ones in another bin, hoovers doesn't have blues according to their website.
so are these actually blue australorps or some blue chicks that hoovers decides to call australorps?

It's TSC, think of the source of info. Lot's of mixes, but they do try.......sometimes..

Yes, Blue Australorp's do exist. I had some before I decided to go with the Naked Neck's instead. They will follow the Black/Blue/Splash as far as breeding them will go.
I know they exist :gig , I just want to know if that's what the those chicks are.

Yes, they look like the one's that I used to hatch from that flock that I had before. I kept a blue roo and put him over black and blue hen's. I did get a few of the splash one's by doing it that way.

I'm very tempted..... but I'm trying to not make any frivolous chick purchases unless they're something I've been looking for because I'm trying to save up for some uber frivolous hatching eggs end of summer.
