It must be the year of the rooster! I've hatched and purchased day old chicks, all roos. I was fortunate to purchase 4 pullets, YAY!
Could someone please recommend a Breeder for either Blue, or Black Copper Marans. I really need for them to be at least 4 months old, and not over 7 months old, so it will be easier to introduce them into my flock. I just want HEALTHY Marans (I am NPIP) that will lay nice dark eggs. I don't care if they are clean legged or have color or comb faults since I am not ever going to breed them. I see several hatcheries have them now but am pretty sure the egg color won't be as described. I'd rather support a Breeder than a hatchery.
