Im still learning, but I was under the impression that blue legs mean americaunas and green legs mean Easter egger. However I'm noticing a few other similar colored breeds have these legs ie the hamburgs. How do I tell the difference?

A TON of birds have blue legs, not just Ameraucanas. Easter eggers can also have blue legs, although it is not very common and is not consistent, they can also have green, white, yellow, or black legs. Leg color will not tell you what breed a chicken is but it can help narrow it down. EEs are mixed breeds so they can have almost any colored legs or feathers or eggs, they are completely random. Ameraucanas will be one of the accepted colors, like blue or black, they will also have muffs and a beard, a pea comb, blue slate legs, and they lay blue eggs. Ameraucanas are also very expensive, usually $15+ per chick, compared to EEs who are like $2 per chick.
